Great illustrations

This book is informative as well as beautifully illustrated.

This is a very nice children’s book that tells us all about The full moon each month. Informative for my older child and entertaining for the younger.

What a lovely little book! I bought it to share with my grandchildren ages 3-8 and when previewing it I found myself reading it aloud because the rhyme scheme was so catchy. No awkward-ending lines that seemed “forced”…the rhyming was very natural. There are moons I’ve never heard of (like Pink and Sturgeon) so I even learned some things.
But what really made the book special for me were the mixed-media illustrations – big, bold and eye-catching that filled the pages. Each night sky was dark, but different hues of green, purple and blue were used…very unusual.
The paper’s quality could be a little higher, but that’s the only negative in a book filled with positives and wonder.

Bought this book to read to my toddler granddaughter. She really enjoys reading it with me. She now loves to look up in the sky to see the moon.

Lovely and informative. Perfect for young children and new readers.
